The beginning
Tiger News Network
The story begins in 1997 with the founding of Tiger News Network at Southern Columbia.

Becoming TigerNews
In 2002, Tiger News Network becomes TigerNews.

A different chapter
The SoCo Pulse years
Kelchner steps down during 2006–08, and the station takes the name SoCo Pulse.
SoCo Pulse takes its place in the station’s history.
2008–13
Back at the desk
Daybreak Live arrives
Kelchner returns in 2008. The station becomes TigerNews Daybreak Live, with a new studio, beginning a chapter that runs through 2013.
