Getting started with Tiger News
What Tiger News is, what's on this site, and where to find it.
Tiger News is the student TV station of Southern Columbia Area. The student crew makes Daybreak Live, a short morning show that airs live at 7:55 a.m. on school days. This site is where you watch it and keep up with school.
You don't need an account. Everything here is free to watch and read.
The menu at the top takes you to each part of the site:
Today: the newest show, the Countdown to the next one, today's Rotation Day, the Bell Schedule and lunch. Watch: every Episode of Daybreak Live, newest first. What's on: school events, breakfast and lunch menus, and the Bell Schedule. School news: search school announcements and public posts, or choose a school to narrow the list. Clubs: school clubs and how to join them. Reports: stories made by the crew, each with its own video and page.
Pitch, at the top right, is where you send the crew an idea. On a phone, open Menu to find Pitch and every other page, including The Crew, Our history and Contact.
Want the site darker? Open Display settings (the button next to Pitch, or in Menu on a phone or tablet) and pick Lights down. You can also turn on Reduce motion there.
